In our web design class, we were tasked with creating and developing an app from the ground up. It was my first time using Adobe XD to animate and prototype, allowing me to explore how an app could function in a real-world setting.

I decided to design an app I wished existed—PlanIt, a fully featured planner app that combined to-do lists, calendars, notes, imagery, news, and seamless page creation—all for free. Inspired by space, I built the app around an “Out of this World” theme, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics.

This project was an incredible learning experience, teaching me valuable lessons in app design, user experience, and accessibility. I also gained key insights into layout strategies and click-through optimization, ensuring that users could navigate the app effortlessly across different devices.
